Carla,

This is fantastic! I also thought about this for "lost" but just could not envision it-thank you for putting the thought and challenge so well into an image!

Oh, by the way, how funny the thoughts these two are thinking, I know I would be thinking of something totally different!

This looks like what goes on in our house...I wonder what to make for dinner and he thinks about his cars...it made me laugh! I really love the patterns on their clothes and the wonderful thoughful expressions on their faces.

To answer the question you asked about my illustration...it started as two separate ink drawings that I scanned, combined, and then colored digitally. How do you create your illustrations?

Hello again, Carla! Thanks for telling me your artistic secrets! You work true magic with such simple materials! I have recently upgraded to CS2 for everything (Illustrator, Photoshop, Go Live, etc) and I also got Painter 9 and a 9 x 12 adesso tablet with the bundle. That's been making me crazy because I can't get the tablet to work properly with my computer and I'm anxious to start messing around with Painter. It's really hard to do with just a mouse!

Take care - the other Carla:>

Hi Carla,

I think we're playing musical blogs here! Thanks so much for your offer about the brushes information. I'll check out the website. I have all kinds of books and CD's, etc... My biggest problem right now is that the tablet doesn't seem to be compatible with my computer, so once I iron that out, I'll take out the books and start playing! Take care:> Carla
